Labour Hire Licensing Regulations update
23 October 2018The Labour Hire Licensing Regulations 2018 were made on 23 October 2018, following public consultation on draft regulations in August - September 2018.
The regulations will have effect when the remaining provisions of the Labour Hire LIcensing Act 2018 are proclaimed and come into operation in 2019. Labour hire providers and hosts will be given sufficient notice of the commencement of obligations, and information sessions will be held on the labour hire licensing scheme in 2019.
Once the scheme commences, providers will have six months to lodge an application for a licence.
