LHA’s engagement activities in April include a webinar for accountants and tax agents

Labour Hire Authority (LHA) engagement activities coming up feature an online session for accountants and tax agents, industry exhibitions and a webinar for providers and hosts.
In March, hosts and providers across different industries attended LHA information sessions in Cobram and Wodonga to learn more about their legal obligations and the tools and resources LHA provides to help.
Upcoming activities
Webinar for accountants and tax practitioners
Accountants and tax practitioners can register to attend a webinar on Tuesday, 8 April.
The session will help accountants and tax agents give practical advice on licence requirements and legal obligations to clients who use, or supply labour hire.
Hosted by Commissioner Steve Dargavel, this session will cover:
- labour hire licensing in Victoria
- determining if your clients need a licence
- applying for and maintaining a licence
- ways to support your client with compliance.

Webinar for providers and hosts
Labour hire providers and hosts can register to attend a webinar on Wednesday, 9 April.
Key topics of this session cover:
- business obligations under Victorian labour hire law
- current focus of labour hire licensing, compliance and enforcement

LHA presence at upcoming Expos
LHA will have booths at two upcoming expos held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in May.
These events will enable LHA to engage with providers and hosts in the manufacturing and hospitality industries, providing education about labour hire licensing.
